Jessie Pyle first appeared onstage with Chino Community Children's Theatre as the Organ Grinder Monkey and Barbell Girl in The 1890’s Music Hall Revue in 1986 where her parents were founding members. She grew up to train at Beverly Hills Studios, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, New York University Tisch School of the Arts Experimental Theatre Wing, Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Santa Fe in Theater with a minor in Dance, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her Teaching Credential in English and Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from University of La Verne. Finally, she earned her CTE credential in Arts, Media & Entertainment from University of California Riverside.
Jessie's most memorable roles are Bridebot in 2116, Nora in A Doll's House, Baker's Wife in Into the Woods, Christina in Dancing at Lughnasa, Reggie Fluty in The Laramie Project, Lizzie in The Rainmaker, and Sylvia in Sylvia. Mrs. Pyle directed shows such as the award-winning In the Heights, Matilda, 13, Hairspray, and Once on this Island at Chino Community Children’s Theatre. She also served as Education Director for CCCT in the past, and is currently on their Executive Board. At Ontario High School, she directed A Midsummer Night's Dream, Aladdin: Dual Language Edition, A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, In the Heights, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Puffs, and The Lightning Thief.
Jessie is a past company member at The Chance Theater of Anaheim Hills, Long Beach Shakespeare Company, and Gallimaufry Performing Arts. She is currently the Theatre Arts teacher at Ontario High School, teaching all levels of drama and stage technology. She co-hosts a YouTube web series entitled Theatre Unscripted with her husband, Aaron. Together, they adore exploring the world of art and nature with their beautiful son, Jasper. Her mission is to help all students find their voices, embody their characters, and create a collaborative ensemble capable of great empathy and powerful storytelling.
